Do Your Customers Love You?

There are two things I’ve been telling you for over a year.

Yes, it’s taken a bit longer then I’ve thought for the market to catch what I’ve been shouting from the rooftops but both of these concepts are now in full force.

#1: The days of the “Super Guru internet marketing experts” sitting behind a pretty desk, on a green screen, selling $5,000 small business marketing strategies info products are gone.

We live in a new society.

Literally.

More then ever people are rapidly becoming entrenched in there little “Virtual World’s”.

They are looking for “other ‘s” just like them.

And…

…they know they can find them quickly and easily.

Your potential clients and customers could care less about what suit you are wearing or what your hair looks like on camera.

If you resonate with them.

If you can “Friend” them.

If you can get them engaged “In Your Story” then they will become very loyal and let you into their little world.

#2: Hype is no longer effective. 

They’ve seen it all.

And they are well aware that somebody somewhere else will give them even MORE value for 10 times less money.

You can think place like the Warrior Forum and Click Bank this.

Both full of hype and yet you can find tremendous value.

“Give me just 17 minutes a day and I’ll guarantee that you will be

earning $134,676 per month without doing any work at all”

Pretty hilarious but this crap actually worked for a long time.

Also…

Because the Super Guru Crap and Hype no longer works…

…Guess What?

The days of the $3,000 Product Launches are dead as well.

When is the last time you saw a launch that didn’t have a 6 – 10 payment plan attached to it?

It’s been a while.

Why?

Because people just won’t pay it anymore.

The market has changed.

THE BIG QUESTION!

If Hype, The Super Guru Formula, and The Big Dollar Product Launch No Longer Works Then What Does?

One Word: ACCESS!

You’ve got to spend more time and effort in developing, nurturing and maintaining relationships with your potential and existing clients and customers.

Some will have you believe Blogging is dead.

Bullsh**&^!!!!

I believe it’s the cornerstone of your success.

Same with email…

…again Bullsh**7^%

Combine both of these with facebook, twitter, and wherever else your customers hang out then you can be top of  mind.

Just send a sales message every two weeks because your a “Guru” and watch as your business dies a quick death.

This doesn’t mean you have to use all the tactics mentioned above.

Seth Godin and myself rarely use Facebook.

Why?

Because I don’t believe it’s worth doing if you don’t have the time and effort to do it right.

I don’t right now.

I’m not going to farm it out to “John” in India pretending to be me.

It’s not fair to you and my business would suffer.

I’d recommend you do the same thing.

If you can’t put the time necessary into something then wait until you can.

Why?

Because people want instant results and answers.

Think about it for a second.

If you post a question or response on a forum or facebook

page how often do you hit refresh or “check back” to see if you’ve been responded to?

Most people do it at an excessive rate.

So you need to be there in real time engaging and interacting.

That’s what will win you customers for life.
